Ritual Crafting

Crafting the Rituals for Your Life

Humans understand through ritual.

Ritual is action with intention

Sometimes a ritual is your morning coffee in a sunny spot.

Sometimes a ritual is your daughter’s wedding.

Rituals are meant to mark the passage of time and the changing life seasons as we move along our path. Humans have used ritual for most of our existance on this planet, and oten ritual formed the backbone of a society. But our current state is largely ritual-less, and it shows. We crave ritual, even if we aren’t aware of what or why we are craving it.

Ritual doesn’t need an aproval stamp from a religion or group- you can make your own. Would you like to have a technology sabbath on the weekend or create a moment for your son to move from adolescent to young man? I can aid you in crafting rituals that are meaningful to you and your family. Ritual work can come from your social or cultural history, your family practices, or even from your favorite works of fiction. It has to be meaningful to you- and together we can craft traditions that you can use, and maybe even pass on to the next generation.

During a consultation we will discuss what ritual you want to craft, your history and thoughts around what to include, and set a timeline for working through the ritual crafting process. Depending on the amount of help you want, your ritual can be anything from a written ceremony, all the way to a ritual box, where I select various items you will need for your ritual and package everything into a beautiful ritual box, ready to use to mark the magic moments of your life.
